Founder & Account Director
A creative marketing and PR specialist, Joanna has worked in the travel and tourism industry for over 15 years. She has a well-rounded understanding and experience of B2B and B2C marketing, partnerships, Public Relations, brand management, social media and event management and has worked with an exciting list of royalty and celebrities.
A Tourism Management graduate, her career in travel began with Thai Airways International in group sales. In 2007 she joined the Tourism Authority of Thailand as Marketing & PR Manager and over 9 years most notably won multiple awards, managed various campaign launches and set up a multichannel social media brand, FanclubThailand. In 2015 Joanna was headhunted to join Visit California as Trade Marketing Director, managing a team of executives, and developed a new luxury strategy.
In 2017 Joanna founded dePaRture Travel & Lifestyle and works with a variety of clients. In 2020 dPR was appointed as the first ever PR company for non-profit organisation Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) UK & Ireland.
ABIGAIL SILVER
Account Manager
Abi Silver has specialised in B2B and B2C communications for the travel and tourism industry for over 20 years. Working with clients both large and small, from luxury hotels to long-haul tour operators, her decades of experience, creative ideas and excellent media contacts is what successfully keeps clients in the headlines.
Abi has provided PR services for the Katathani Collection, an award-winning Thai-based hospitality group consisting of seven hotels; AMResorts, one of the fastest-growing all-inclusive luxury brand management companies with 55 properties across Mexico, the Caribbean and Central America; and leading America, Canada, Mexico and Caribbean tailor-made tour operator Funway Holidays International.
She worked for the Tourism Authority of Thailand (London) for ten years as PR Manager, delivering record visitors and receiving several industry company awards. Following the tsunami in 2004 she became a regular media spokesperson on crisis management issues. Abi graduated from Derby University with a 2:1 in Business Marketing & Tourism.
